It runs west towards the inland, past pine forests and cliffs it goes on wide hiking trails through a high valley surrounded by sand stone cliffs and a pine forest. You follow the path to the north for several hundred meters, some time supsteep cliffs along the border line. Once there, you will come across the ruins of the Frangokastro Castle. This castle represents the border point to the monastic republic.
